Student Data Mapper
Since 2001, the vision of Student Data Mapper has been to allow teachers to create STEM or geographic inquiry questions, requiring students to collect and analyze the data. Today, Student Data Mapper uses Web 2.0 tech, mobile geo-location, and advanced mapping tools for data visualization to better support BYOD in learning. How Does It Work?Teachers or facilitators create a project with a question that has a tie to location, using the link below. The project is shared with students through email or social media, who use their smartphones (iPhone or Android), location-aware tablets or laptops to collect data and map it. Projects can be set as public - allowing the whole world to participate. Get started today! Submit some data to a project! |
